What makes Ataraxis Farms products unique?
Ataraxis Farms’ Lavender, Strawberry Gum, and Bush Mint products are grown, hand harvested, and crafted in small batches by our team in the Northern Rivers, NSW, ensuring every creation is truly farm-to-bottle.
What are the benefits of Bush Mint?
Prostanthera melissifolia (Bush Mint), is a member of the Lamiaceae family and originates from South East Australia. The oil releases a revitalising aroma, combining minty and eucalyptus notes that evokes the essence of the Australian bush.
This oil boasts numerous health benefits, such as encouraging easy breathing, combatting colds, alleviating headaches, acting as an antibacterial and antifungal agent and soothing skin irritations and blemishes.
What are the benefits of Strawberry Gum?
Eucalyptus Olida, also known as Berry Gum or Forest Berry, originates from Northern New South Wales, Australia. The oil has a menthol scent typical of Eucalyptus, with a strong essence of sweet strawberry and spicy cinnamon.
Strawberry Gum provides a harmonising and cooling effect, aids in muscle and joint relief, helps fight colds, soothes skin blemishes and irritations, and serves as an antibacterial and antiseptic agent.
As a tea, Strawberry Gum is known to help balance gut microflora. It can also be enjoyed in sweet treats such as biscuits or added to mayonnaise or salads to give your fish and chips or salad an authentic Australian twist.
What are the benefits of Lavender?
Lavender Essential Oil releases a calming floral and herbaceous fragrance that helps relax both the mind and body.It is recognised for its soothing and medicinal qualities, proven to encourage relaxation and recovery. It offers a wide range of health benefits, from enhancing sleep and relaxation to providing antibacterial properties for acne, skin hydration and relieving headaches.
How are your products made?
All products are handcrafted in small batches on the farm. We infuse, blend and bottle everything ourselves to make sure each item is fresh, high-quality and made with intention.
Can I visit Ataraxis Farms or attend a Farm Gate event?
Yes, our farm welcomes visitors on select weekends for Farm Gate events. Check our homepage or social media for upcoming dates and experiences. If you would like to arrange a private tour, please contact us to discuss your needs further.
What products are available for gifting or special occasions?

Do you ship Australia-wide, and how do I buy your products?
All of our products can be purchased online, with shipping available across Australia. If you would prefer to buy in person, you can visit us at one of our local markets or pick up from one of our local stockists - you'll find the full list on our website.
What sustainable practices do you follow?
We are completely off-grid here on the farm - running on solar, wind power and the rainwater we harvest ourselves. We focus on feeding the soil so it stays healthy, which means our plants grow up strong and happy. We do use low doses of chemicals to manage weeds (this warm climate makes them wild!), but we keep it minimal and intentional to protect the land we love.
