We’re excited to introduce the newest addition to the Ataraxis Farms botanical range;  our Rejuvenation Bar, a beautifully simple cleansing and exfoliating bar infused with one of our favourite farm-grown Australian natives: Strawberry Gum (Eucalyptus olida).

A warm shower.  A moment to slow down.  The fresh scent of native botanicals.  And a bar of soap that does a little more than simply wash the day away.

From our farm to your shower

Strawberry Gum has become an important part of what we grow and create here at Ataraxis Farms.  We grow our Strawberry Gum right here on our farm in the Northern Rivers of NSW, where we hand-harvest the leaves and carefully produce our own Strawberry Gum essential oil.

So when we say this bar contains our Strawberry Gum, we really mean it.

From growing and harvesting the plant to producing the essential oil, we've had a hand in its journey from the paddock to your bathroom.

We then teamed up with local makers Bush to Body Products Australia, who transformed our farm-grown Strawberry Gum into something wonderfully practical - a botanical cleansing bar made for everyday use.

More than just a bar of soap

The Rejuvenation Bar was created to be a little different.

Alongside plant-based oils and our Strawberry Gum essential oil, we've included our hand-harvested Strawberry Gum leaf to give the bar a gentle natural texture.

As you lather, the leaf helps to gently buff away dry, dull skin while the creamy soap cleanses.

The result? Silky smooth, soft and refreshed skin.

It's an uncomplicated approach to skincare.  Simple ingredients, beautiful botanicals and a little bit of nature woven into your everyday routine.

Why Strawberry Gum?

Strawberry Gum is a very special Australian native.

Also known as Eucalyptus olida, it is native to the northern coastal regions of New South Wales and is particularly loved for its distinctive aromatic character.  And despite its name, it isn't a strawberry tree!

Its leaves contain wonderfully aromatic oils with a fresh, fruity character that makes Strawberry Gum such an interesting botanical to work with.

Strawberry Gum is also recognised for naturally occurring antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, which adds to its appeal as a botanical ingredient for cleansing products.

It's Australian.  It's aromatic. It's distinctive.  And it's something we grow, harvest and transform right here on our farm.

A little exfoliation goes a long way

Dry skin can make skin feel rough, dull and a little neglected, particularly through the cooler months.  The Strawberry Gum leaf in our Rejuvenation Bar provides gentle physical exfoliation as you wash, helping to buff away dry skin and leaving your skin feeling beautifully smooth.
